FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened | Official Trailer [HD] | Netflix

An exclusive behind the scenes look at the infamous unraveling of the Fyre music festival. Launching globally on Netflix on January 18, 2019.

Created by Billy McFarland and rapper Ja Rule, Fyre Festival was promoted as a luxury music festival on a private island in the Bahamas featuring bikini-clad supermodels, A-List musical performances and posh amenities. Guests arrived to discover the reality was far from the promises.

Chris Smith, the director behind the Emmy Award Nominated documentary Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond, gives a first-hand look into disastrous crash of Fyre as told by the organizers themselves.

  1. whats the song playing in the trailer? please i beg someone knows. shazam finds a song that isnt on any streaming platform

  2. Guy might have been an absolute douche bag but he managed to scam all the rich entitled pricks dumb enough to fall for this shit.

  3. Netflix got this chump and Hulu got the Dropout blitch. You would think these dumb asses would learn.

  4. Comparing woodstock era people to millenials. Today, we are so used to luxurious shit, we cannot survive in the wild anymore.

  5. Whatever happened to the good old rave days. Where the only thing you had was a map of the underground rave, and a pill or 2. The best djs playing not for the money, but to actually showcase their best talents. Oh yeah and water. We were soo much happier, now we’re living the commodification of raves. 😑 sad era to be living in. 🤮

  6. Aaaah the old western white man capitalism… exploiting the 3rd world countries to sell an overly exeggerated full of shit dream to rich and exteremely moron blonde people…

  7. It's a sad state of progressive capitalism. we allow people to get funding who have no background or experience in a field. We allow people who merely have ideas with no data to support the feasibility of said idea or even a prototype. Theranos is another idea that put the cart far ahead of the horse.

People are giving great deals on products they don't even have in stock. they're getting the money first then try to make to the product happen. At the end the guy frank was probably selling VIP tickets, got the money then called the venue asking if he could get a VIP program started.

    step 1: scam people
step 2: use the least amount of money to make it not a scam

  8. Wow all the models influencers ect should have paid the locals talk about privileged! Kendall Jenner made $275,000 for a post  ridiculous

  9. The most hilarious thing about all of this is what the guy that had to do to a sexual favor to get the water for the festival releases through customs. He says he didn't give the head of customs oral satisfaction, but I think he did..

  10. This was genuinely a great documentary, I learned about it on an episode of Distractible. What a dumpster "fyre".

  11. One of the best parts of this watch, is seeing all those self entitled, narcissistic Instagram ‘influencers’ getting completely F ed over by the media self important sh*t don’t stink edgy organisers. Humble yourselves you absolute losers

  12. The daily wages workers put in 100s of hours of work and never got paid and the lady who served food had to pay from her life time saving to her workers. It broke my heart when the lady said nobody came back or even looked back.
The influencers will keep on so called influencing no matter as long as they get hefty amount for a post

  13. These vacuous "influencers" profiting as always….have they done anything at all to help the people of the island ???? "Influencers" the ugliest word ever invented.

  14. I watched this coz of anna delvey 😉

I've been working alot with startups, entrepreneurs etc and they have all the same thing, very positive attitude and a Yes attitude but what separates them from the bad ones was the Reality vs Imaginary.
They all have big dreams, do the impossible possible but the entrepreneur who is legit is the one who abides with it.
    Not frauds, oversells things etc.
His dream is soooooo high than he himself couldn't do it.

As a ticket buyer….that is already a Red big flag!
How can u have a music festival in a remote island overseas?
I wonder what toilets did they use there?
Anything "remote" has very weak, wifi, electricity and water….all these basic things that we used too……in a remote island….that is not basic

  15. While it's a tragedy all around, there's something very satisfying about seeing all these narcissists having to suffer for a little while

  16. The biggest irony is that the fuckjerry crew who promoted the festival SO MUCH, made this Docu 😂 not bias at all

  17. the funniest part was that one guy who was partying and dancing cuz he won the tickets from some giveaway, and then saw all the celebrities pissed off.

  18. It's amazing to see the sheer number of forms a pyramid scheme can materialize as.

I'm in one right now called Dogecoin.

  19. Amazing documentary, shows the dark side of the human mind when it comes to greed and power, shows how only one person can change it all.

  21. The Festival was so satisfying and such a wonderful experience for me!
I never was on a festival like that one first the privatjet was so big like a Boeing 737 I never seen such a big privatjet in my live only trumps privatjet have the same space maybe they hired one of them… 😏

From the Airport to the festival we and 80 other happy party peoples have a private Limo service in form from an nice old school bus very retro but without AC.👍
The Villa Iglo Tents where big, beautiful and clean plus they have watermatrasses already filled up and some of the Iglos where later used to make a big fire the same like at the burning man festival !😁
The acts where so cool you can't see none of them for there privacy I think but they played the whole time my favorite music from (iam not sure) a soundcloud list up and down max to 100%.

The catering was also first class exquisite.
The food you can choose between four diverent big meals (Or everything together)
includes a slice of cheese, two slices of bread, one salad leaf and something looks like a sauce i don't know what it exactly was but all in all a very cool meat free hipster meal but next time for vegans maybe they should leave the cheese away.😋

Toilets and showers where not necessary because they don't plan to have anyone of these useless installations on an island.💦💩
If you need them anyways you can use the neighbor tent while the owner was not there or you use the "concierge" huts because nobody cares at all.👌

The sad thing was that the festival ends to early and we have to take the first private jet back to Miami.
They lead us very quick with the limo bus to the V. I. P. first class waiting area at the airport where we have also a full catering all the time.
After 13 hours chilling they locked all the door's at the airport with chains and shut down the power.
I think that was for our safety in case of stray wild animals or bad weather I don't know…
But also very, very nice from them.

So if the producers and CEO are out of jail and they make another Fyre Festival I am absolutely satisfied to be one of the first persons who book a ticket because they are limited and you never ever will find a second festival like that one.

I hope this report helps you for your next FYRE festival experience.
Sorry for my English iam not a native English speaker.
I hope you can understand it all, if yes pls leave me a recommend.🤔😅

  22. A normal music festival will take at least 10 to 12 months they thought it could be finished in six to eight weeks

  23. Bunch of porn stars went to this dumb Island paid a lot of money and end up with nothing but shit.

  24. Imagine, if there's someone who work hard to save money for this event hoping he will get something waow, and then…boom!

  25. Now that some time has gone by, i hope the locals got paid. Especially that one woman who was out her entire life savings. And the employees who were stuck with thousands of credit card debt from Fyre.
I do feel bad for the "rich kids" but my heart hurt for the people who labored so hard to try to make this work.
